Speaking of Evolution. What is this song about?
Evolution
Well i wrote this maybe 10 years ago and perhaps it was a forecast into the future to now and what is unfolding for us at the moment. I believe we need to change and us as a collective consciousness need a big change, a time to awaken from our sleepy malasie . A time to open our eyes to what we have been allowing and accepting, saying ok and agreeing with a click or a push of a button or simply closing our eyes and turning away from what distresses us.
If youre not sure what i am referring to I am referring to opening our eyes to really look deeply into yourself and into the world around you and ask yourself….Am I Happy?…..Is this the life i dreamed of as a child for me?…..Where did the rainbows and dolphins and smiles and laughter, hugs, love, connection and community…..where did it go?
For us our evolution is the Evolution of the Heart. Open all of the time , open to the challenges, the sore spots inside of you, open to the pain you see in another, open and connect. Refuse to be detached and numbed out. Only then will we grow and find that love and connection we all desire as we will find in ourself and then with our environment.
The new song sings about not getting in line because an authority or someone told you to. Did you ask why? What is the wisdom or non wisdom behind the request……This new song is about bringing attention to an absolute MUST that we connect from our hearts and mature our capability to love ourself and one another, our planet, all of the animals, nature and the earth. We are living here on the earth as it sustains us with food, warmth-absolutely everything we possess. Really ponder this, grow your appreciation about this truth and allow this to spread into your thoughts, your actions and your dreams.
